MUSIC LESSONS
The isYOURteacher courses give access to teacher’s live performances and lessons (refer to these live recordings).
By watching an isYOURteacher lesson, you have access to the live performance and therefore to the lessons that matches it.
Rely on the live performance of the teacher to understand and make the right musical choices at the right time. In other words, the teacher will explain why and how it has played in the live performance, and gives you the keys to get there.
MUSIC LESSONS are organized in 3 parts:

– Play-Along
– Live:
A course starts with one or more musicians playing live and which are filmed by multiple cameras. You can watch the live from 4 different angles.
– Lessons:
Content and functionality:
A lesson consists of several explanations : theoretical, practical, anecdotiques…
This lesson is always connected to what is played in live performance and serves to guide you in your choices. The advices are available into a player with thumbnails located in a column situated on the right of the player.
You can watch any lesson at any moment by clicking on the thumbnail you want.
The lessons are always connected to what is played into the live: colored times are used to identify the moments correspondant into the live. There could be 3 different chapters into a lesson: explanations, exercises and/or conclusions.
The lessons allow you to make the teacher play at several tempos and with different views, in order to get a better understanding of the instrumental practice’s evolution.
A score in .pdf of all exercises that have been explained can be downloaded in the lessons. Just click on “Downloads” at the bottom of the picture of the lesson.
In order to practice what has been learned in the lesson, a Play-Along is included in each isYOURteacher Music Lesson.
TECHNIQUE Lessons
– Technique Lessons:
This type of lessons is the most common model we have known for years through DVDs.
Technique Lessons are not based on a Live: they refer to the teaching technique of instrumental practice given by the teacher.
Exactly like the Music Lessons, the advices are available into a player with thumbnails located in a column situated on the right of the player. These chapters are lessons about the progression of the teacher’s lesson.
